Bus Route Information: We have revised our consolidated bus route in order to do our best to serve our families. If you have any questions or concerns about your bus transportation, please contact Chani Biser at cbiser@millriverschools.org
Road conditions traveling to SMS: The large culvert project on Northam Road is complete and that means that you can take Cold River Road all the way to the school and not need any detours. The Mountain School Road project experienced a delay due to the terrain that was uncovered by the excavation company that was unanticipated and they had to wait for new plans to be drawn up by the engineer. This put a several week delay in the middle of the project. They are making steady progress each day, but at the beginning of the school year, we will experience traffic backing up and delays getting to and from the school during both the morning and afternoon. I have been able to collaborate with our Road Commissioner, Dan Cavoto, to create a plan to keep students and families safe when the volume of cars and the bus will be entering and exiting the school campus. I am very grateful that the Shrewsbury Town road crew will be utilizing signs and two way radios to guide traffic one way at a time on the temporary road through the town garage up to the school. They will be in place approx 7:20-8:00am and 2:40-3:20pm. Please plan ahead for extra time in the morning to get to school and I would appreciate extra care and driving with caution as we navigate this short term issue together. First Day Share! Thank you so much for sharing your first day of school photos with me. It is not too late to join in on the fun! I will post the pictures on our website and Facebook page so we can all celebrate together.
Support our School! We need people to support our After School program as well as volunteers to help with our Four Winds Program, our Winter Sports Program and our PTO! If you are able to volunteer, please send me an email or call the school. We would love to have you and the students would greatly appreciate your support!

Your student will be rotated through other tables as well throughout the school year! Remember school lunch is free again this year and all school lunches are nut free!
